StErOTyPeS

For centuries women have had to conform to what society thinks looks good and what society wants to see. Fashion for women has changed from corsets, long skirts and dress, short skirts and dresses to now even shorter skirts and dresses to barely wearing nothing at all. Make-up has also changed as well. It went from red lipstick and mascara to hundreds of different varieties, colors and mixtures and long fake lashes. Bathing suits changed from one pieces to two pieces to now skimpy, thin bathing suits. Women are now even changing their appearances by getting face lifts, implants, fat being taken out and so on. Why do you have to be a certain size and shape to be a model, why can't you model at any size and shape? Everyones body is different so why can't magazines show that. Cant we all be satisfied with the bodies we have and work with what we've got? Most of all women are doing this for what? To gain confidence or to have compliments thrown at from left and right, to find love? ..But is this what women want or is it what society wants?

Barbies 50th anniversary

Does barbie have influence over young girls and how they think they should look?

Why cant
''Fat" Barbie look like & be as pretty as or even prettier than Barbie?

"Fat" Barbie is taken as a joke. How does this heavier girls feel?

Is this what makes girls strive to become skinner no matter what it takes?

Example : Malibu Barbie from the 50's  to Now

Barbie and her friends in the 90s & Barbie and friends Now.
No longer one pieces as the years go by.
